Registration Period for New H1B Visas Has Begun

The registration period for new H1B visas for fiscal year 2022 began March 10, 2021 and will end at noon on March 25, 2021. If you would like to file new H1B visas for your employees under the quota for 2022, please contact DHC's Of Counsel Joe Asir. Joe is skilled in preparing H1B petitions encompassing a wide variety of industries and occupations and will assist clients with filing H1B visas for the 2022 fiscal year, which begins on October 1, 2021.

When the registration period ends, next steps include:
  • USCIS will then conduct the lottery.
  • April 1, 2021: Successful employers will be advised how many of their employees have been selected. They will then have 90 days to submit the H1B classification petition with USCIS.
  • October 1, 2021: Approved employees can start working for the employer on the H1B status.
Please contact Joe Asir at ja@dhclegal.com or at 609-933-1275. Joe can suggest other alternatives for foreign nationals to seek employment or start their own business in the U.S. if the H1B is not the most appropriate visa route. Additionally, he works with employers in the hospitality, construction and restaurant industries to hire skilled foreign workers for short term projects.
