The Yale University Art Gallery announced today that it is collaborating with Artspace New Haven on the 2021 Happy and Bob Doran Connecticut Artist-in-Residence program. The new residency will provide up to five early to mid-career artists who live and work in Connecticut with a $15,000 award, among other benefits. The residency is virtual and culminates in a group exhibition at Artspace New Haven in mid-2022. Practicing visual artists in all media—and especially those who are recent M.F.A. graduates from any accredited program—are encouraged to apply.

APPLY NOW
A call for proposals is open until Friday, April 30, 2021, 5:00 pm EDT. Complete details, including application instructions and eligibility requirements, can be found on the Gallery’s website.
The Yale University Art Gallery is closed until further notice. The Gallery is working in close collaboration with Yale University leadership to safeguard against the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff. Please continue to check our website for updated information.
