Holy Communion with our Online Worship!
Preparation Suggestions Below
Before Online Worship begins, you can prepare for communion by setting up a cup of wine or grape juice, and a small plate with a piece of bread or a cracker. What is most important is that you are present for this holy sacrament, and the people of God are praying together.
Altar flowers are given by Brian and Joyce Tolson in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary!

Second Mile Giving
“Second-mile giving” refers to an extra offering toward a special cause. Our second mile giving for March goes to ELCA World Hunger. By providing immediate relief to those who are hungry, ELCA World Hunger meets basic needs and recognizes the universal human right to food. But ending hunger is about more than food. By connecting people with the resources they need to produce food and gain access to clean water, education, health care and sources of income, long-term, sustainable change can be accomplished.
Offering can be given through Tithe.Ly or mailed to the Church Office at 504 Baker St.
*If donating to Second Mile Giving, please note "2nd Mile: Hunger" in your preferred offering method. Thanks!

No More Paper/Plastic Bags Needed
Thank you to all who have donated bags so generously! As the Interfaith Pantry is no longer pre-bagging food we are not in need of paper or plastic bags at this time. Please do not leave any at the church or office, so we can avoid a fire hazard. We have taken most of our accumulated stock to Hillside Church where they are pre-bagging at their pantry. You are welcome to take your bags to Hillside Church at 2689 Old Adobe Road. Thank you!

Information on Future Celebration of Life for Roger
Per Roger's family, there will be a Celebration of Life held at Elim in the future when it is safe again to do so. In the meantime, they ask that instead of sending flowers, you donate to Elim’s Mexico Housebuilding Mission, Elim’s Facility Improvement Fund for the Painting Project, or the Petaluma Interfaith Food Pantry. Thank you.
April - June Portals of Prayer Available!
If you are interested in a copy of the April through June edition of Portals of Prayer please contact Erin or Richard.
Nominating Committee Intro from Pr. Kathryn
Our Nominating Committee is up and running! Please pray for them as they consider people for the many positions of leadership at Elim Lutheran Church. They are praying for wisdom from the Holy Spirit for this task. I hope and pray that if YOU receive a call, you will reflect and pray about whether you can say "Yes" to the particular ministry they are asking you to consider.
Thanks be to God that they said "Yes" to serving on this committee! God's blessings shine upon Robin Merrill, Audrey Norman, Brian Tolson, Doris Widger, and Brigitte Winterboer!
