Happy Friday, Everyone:

Tomorrow night is everyone’s favorite Saturday night of the year as we “spring forward” and move those clocks ahead one hour. Such fun.

We love our online congregation and we also love seeing more and more of your faces for our in-person gatherings. You can find our in-person protocols are here.  We are doing our best to provide a comfortable, safe and meaningful experience for all.

Kyle Strickland will be doing double duty this weekend. He will teach live in our Gym at 9:45am from 1 Thessalonians chapter two on “Paul’s Template for Disciple-making.” He will teach the same topic online at 10:00am right here

I’m beginning a three-week pre-Easter series this Sunday called “Aim to Please" and the theme verse is 2 Corinthians 5:9 – “we make it our aim to please God.” When your great ambition in life is to please God, you are set apart and you become a player in a creative minority, serving ultimate purposes. There is the myth, a false dichotomy, that if you aim to please God you lose all sense of personal joy and pleasure. On the contrary, as Jesus said, if you want to really find your life you need to lose it in the high and noble ways of God. God knows best, He knows the best way forward, He will see us through and you will never regret decisions you make where you aim to please God. What is your ultimate ambition and aim?

Easter Sunday is April 4 and we will have three services at 7:00am, 9:00am, and 11:00am. The 7:00am service will be an Acappella sunrise experience in the Courtyard. The latter two services will be in the Worship Center (9:00am Acappella and 11:00am Instrumental). Our theme for Easter is, “It’s a New Day” and what a great opportunity for you to send an evite to friends. Because Christ rose on the third day, it’s a new day for us full of God’s good possibilities in your life and mine.

Whether online or in-person, join us for worship this Sunday! God deserves it. You need it to recalibrate your life. Worship doesn’t depend on circumstances nor an ideal environment. Worship depends on our perspective.

All God’s very best to you my friends,
Ronnie
