We are proud to announce the launch of the Alaska Ocean Observing System's new website at aoos.org.
As your 'Eye on Alaska's Coasts and Oceans', we strive to provide our users with important information and resources regarding our corner of the world. The website includes information on our ongoing contributions to increasing and improving observations and data on the Arctic, Bering Sea, and Gulf of Alaska large marine ecosystems and on the structure and programs of AOOS.
Additionally, the website provides access to the AOOS Ocean Data Explorer, the largest publicly available assemblage of ocean and coastal data for the Alaska region, and some examples of how the data portal can be useful to different users.
