Good Afternoon,

Below is an email regarding a few updates to the Farmer's Market this year, as well as a Vendor Application for those who are interested in being a vendor.

  • Relocating to Mayors’ Riverfront Park this season: Our Bank Street location will be under construction, so the Kalamazoo Farmers Market will be temporarily relocated to Mayors’ Riverfront Park (251 Mill St., Kalamazoo 49048) for the entire 2021 season.
  • New Thursday Market time: Our new Thursday hours are 12 pm-5 pm. With this change, we aim to capitalize on our temporary location’s visibility to Mills St. traffic and Thursday evening Growlers games.
  • 2021 Rules and Guidelines: These have been updated for the 2021 season. Details on important dates/deadlines, market days/times, the application process, alternative currencies and reimbursement, required signage, rental rates, stall selection, and more are all included in this document. We encourage reading through the 2021 Rules and Guidelines (found here on our website) before filling out an application.
  • COVID-19 Policies: Our priority is the health and safety of all Market participants. We’re anticipating operating similarly to last season in regards to social distancing and masks required for all Market participants. We will send out a more detailed Pandemic Plan document closer to the start of the season. As of now, please plan on observing the following policies:
    • All Market participants (including staff, volunteers, vendors, shoppers) are asked to maintain a 6-foot separation between themselves and others.
    • All Market participants are required to wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth.

Here's a link to the application on our website, pfcmarkets.com
