SHORT COURSES
We have some great short courses on offer in March and April at Canberra Potters.

Jeff Mincham will be joining us from March 18 for an exhibition and residency and will be offering a course over the Easter weekend will exploring the process of building and finishing a range of ceramic forms by throwing on a wheel and altering using a variety of hand-building techniques.

Jeff will be followed by Daniel Skeffington in April who is offering a course to bring together concepts of creativity and explore how to employ these in your ceramic practice.  Whether you are a seasoned ceramic artist, a committed hobbyist or just starting out, this workshop will illuminate your art making and provide you with the skills to grow and explore beyond your current output.

TERM TWO CLASS BOOKINGS

It's that time again. Class booking will open for booking as follows;

Monday 8 March - Term Two Introduction to Clay classes and Easter School Holiday classes for children open for booking. We have added a new Introduction to Clay offering on Monday afternoons 1pm to 4pm.

Monday 15 March - All other Term 2 classes open for booking. We have a few new offerings to try and accomodate those who have been missing out due to high demand.

There will be an early evening continuing class on Sundays 5.30 to 8.30 and  two new Skill Focus classes Sculpture with Character with Jackie Lallemand on Thursday afternoon 1pm to 4pm and Teapots and Lidded Forms with Chris Harford on Tuesday evenings 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Mark the date in your diary as bookings will fill quickly.
The library will reopen for members use in the very near future but we need your help.  We know lots of our books and magazines have been 'sheltering in place' at member homes during COVID. Thank you for keeping them safe.

We will be doing a full clean and sort of the library prior to reopening so it's now time for those books and magazines to head home for some TLC to get them ready to loan to members again. All books and magazines can be returned via the shop from next week. If the shop is closed you can ask your teacher or a staff member to place them in the library for you.

We know it's easy to forget those books and magazines borrowed so long ago so please check your shelves and make sure there's nothing hiding away at the back.

Please return all borrowed items by Friday 19 March.
