The Women's Mosque of America

:: In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate ::

Salaam everyone,

InshAllah we hope you are all doing well and staying safe. We pray for the protection of all our Asian brothers and sisters, and inshAllah we plan to hold extra time during our discussion circle this month to provide space to process recent tragic events.

Please join us for our next women-led jumma'a on Friday, March 26th @ 1pm PST. We are honored to hear an inspiring khutbah from Sahar Pirzada of HEART as she shares from her first-hand experience on the topic of Leaning on Islam to Navigate Pregnancy Loss and Abortion. After jumma'a is over, we will connect with the khateebah through our Zoom Q&A Discussion Circle (RSVP required). We will be inviting counselors to attend our Q&A in case anyone is in need of emotional support.

Here is how our online jumma'a will run:

  • 1:00pm PST | Watch the khutbah & adthan on either our Facebook or YouTube page.
  • 1:45pm PST | To accommodate differences of opinion on prayer, we ask everyone to pray on their own at home.
  • 2:00pm PST | Participate with other congregants in our live Q&A Discussion with the Imam on Zoom (RSVP to receive link & password).

We look forward to seeing all of you on Friday, March 26th, inshAllah.

With Love and Gratitude,
The Women's Mosque of America Team
