PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Dear Members & Supporters,

"Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment." — Oprah Winfrey

It’s hard to believe that it has been one year since our last in-person Junior League meeting. I never imaged at that time that one year later, we would still be holding all events over Zoom, still wearing masks and still talking about the pandemic, but here we are.

I want to thank our members for carrying out our mission and continuing our work– no matter what that has looked like. We have had to pivot, think outside the box and try SO many new ways of doing things in the past year.

Were we sad to not be at the Fairgrounds setting up for Rummage last month? 100% yes! But, we are not letting it get us down. We are so excited about our Spirit of Rummage campaign, and everything else our league members have been doing to develop women and improve the community (too many to list here!)

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this past year – thank you for sticking with us through these tough times. I know we will look back on this year and be proud of all we accomplished.

Fondly,
Jennie Elser
President 2020-2022
