March is here! 

As we start to see the world warming up around us and the snow melting, the excitement of Spring begins!  And if you are like us, we are already thinking about summer!  KSRA is going to have Camp Maple Leaf and Camp Adventure again this summer.  We had a safe and successful program last summer and we will do it again in 2021!  We are currently working on our digital summer brochure which will be emailed to our families and posted on our website and shared in our Mailchimp.  Once the brochure is posted, Camp registration will be OPEN.
 
In more exciting Spring news, KSRA will host its first Golf Outing on Friday, May 21, at the Sycamore Park District Golf Course.  What a great way to end the work week - with an afternoon of golf for a good cause :) There will be fun, food, and festivities.  More information will be posted soon.  Plan to bring some friends and join us for all the fun!

KSRA programs have had some fun jumping on the Bernie Sanders meme band wagon (see our Bocce Team’s picture above). The KSRA Walking Club recently celebrated their accomplishment of walking a 5K!  They not only completed one 5K, but they have now accomplished this multiple weeks in a row; a goal the group has worked hard to reach!  There was a small and safe celebration at the last Walking Club session where all participants and staff were awarded 5K metals. Sam and Dawn were there to give out the metals and celebrate!  This was a surprise for our Walkers - they had no idea - and it truly was a wonderful surprise.  All walkers had family there to watch them! During their next session, staff will be tracking total miles walked. We cannot wait to see that number in April!

In March, KSRA also has the St. Patty’s Day Party and Game Night programs available for our adults to safely get together with friends and enjoy an evening.  Registration is open for both programs.
