Auction live!
“The Consideration of Contemplation”

by acclaimed Australian surrealist painter and installation artist Andrew Baines.

Living art
On Thursday at 7.30am 70+ intrepid souls sat on North Cottesloe Beach to meditate and raise awareness of Meeting for Minds - an innovative not-for-profit that works to reduce stigma around mental health and incorporate people with living experience of mental health challenges in a cross-section of brain related research.

We are thrilled to tell you that we have now received coverage in London (The Times, The Guardian) Washington (The Atlantic) Portugal (Vasio) Germany (The Stern)… and the list grows.

The project of sitting on the beach was inspired by Andrew Baines, an internationally acclaimed artist who has generously donated the painting above to Meeting for Minds to auction. The auction is on until Sunday March 7th 5pm.(Western Australian time)

It would be an amazing addition to any home or office collection. Mental health is a major issue and Covid will only exacerbate the challenges we face. Please consider this win win scenario - a wonderful painting - a wonderful back story and helping a not-for-profit that is really striving to make a difference.

We will be producing 100 smaller limited edition signed copies of the artwork for purchase. If you are interested stay tuned.
