Last year we sent you an announcement informing users RentTrack’s payment business would be transitioning to Zego (Powered by PayLease). Only the payments division of RentTrack was transitioned to Zego. RentTrack remains a separate entity and a leader in rent reporting solutions.
The longstanding partnership agreement we established with RentTrack will not be renewed with Zego when it expires on July 5, 2021. We have expressed our willingness to revisit a partnership at a later date if Zego works to restore RentTrack functionality, listens to customer requests, and improves the customer support experience.
If you are currently using Zego to process payments, we will continue to track problems and missing functionality in the Zego integration and will continue serving as an advocate for our customers. For users that would like another choice for payment processing, we will be actively looking to find an additional integration partner.
We remain committed to helping Zego implement the RentTrack server-based API if they choose to allocate development resources to the project.
We will continue to provide integration-related support for Zego services through the end of September. At that time, Zego will take over all support of the integration. We have expressed our willingness to contractually extend our support period through the end of June 2022.
