Council carries out maintenance work at community halls
 
Maintenance work has been carried out at Buckhurst Hill Parish Council's two community halls.

Gas work on the heating system has been completed at the Woollard Centre where carpet has been cleaned and maintenance work carried out on the toilets.

At Roding Valley Hall, an ash and holly tree has been removed, fence panels replaced and a gate repaired.

Additionally, safety surfacing at the Kings Place play area has been repaired.

The work undertaken was reported to Thursday's finance and establishment committee meeting.


 
Hall charges review put on hold


A review of charges for Buckhurst Hill Parish Council's community halls - The Woollard Centre and Roding Valley Hall - has been put on hold.

The charges will remain the same for the time being, with the situation reconsidered at the next finance and establishment committee.
