Small businesses and nonprofits with fewer than 20 employees should apply by March 10, 2021, during an exclusive PPP application period when the SBA is only processing the smallest of small business applications. Also, this week, a revision of the funding formula for sole proprietors, independent contractors, and self-employed people will offer more relief than in the past. Businesses with 20+ employees can apply later through March 31, 2021.
