current hours: 3:00-5:00 pm

More produce + live music this week!

Spring is nearly here, and several of our produce vendors are returning this week with the first of their spring produce.  We're almost ready to switch back to our regular-season hours of 4-6pm -- not this week, but next week, after Daylight Saving Time begins.

It looks to be a nice and warm Tuesday afternoon, so come on out and soak up the sunshine, stock up on local food for the week, and enjoy some live music from Gary Green!

This Week's Featured Vendors

In addition to our delicious treats, this week we're going to have a special surprise.  Our spokes-dog, Fizz, will be at market at well!  Yup, you read that right.  This is your chance to meet a real live Bedlington Terrier.  Fizz is very friendly and talkative and will be handing out free kisses and advice.  So be sure to stop by to say hi and pick up some treats for your furry friends at home.

Beechcrest Farm will be there with a great selection of beef and pork, anything from steaks to short ribs to brats to ground and stew beef.  We still have farm sausage, bacon, pork stew, and a butt roast.  The chickens are laying again, so we will also have several dozen eggs.  See you Tuesday!

Bold Bagels will not be there this week. If you would like to pre-order for next week, you can do so starting on Wednesday 3/10 here: https://forms.gle/4P27msRP57c8nHGz7

Bonlee Grown Farm

Amy's Sweet Tangy Mustard is back! This creamy treat pairs well with sausage, chicken, sandwiches, and especially our house-fermented sauerkraut! We make it in extra-small batches, so be sure to see our preorder info below!

We have Country Caviar this week! Our sweet corn salsa with black beans, onions, sweet red peppers, and black-eyed peas in our overnight marinade. Also from the kitchen are banana bread and pumpkin bread, sweet and sour pickles, pickled beets, bread and butter pickles, chow chow, pickled okra, cranberry-strawberry jam, triple berry, strawberry, and more!

We have blooming succulents! We have arrangements with blossoms and greenery, houseplants, cacti, and aloe!

Jessica will have feather earrings and jewelry made from materials gathered on the farm. To preorder any of our products, call/text 919-548-0977 or email amyraysugg@embarqmail.com

Botanist & Barrel crafts real Southern ciders, fruited sours, and wines.  Focused on spontaneous, wild cultures and light-handed wine-making, we embrace Old World methods with modern sensibilities.  We make natural beverages with no additives (like sulfites).  We craft healthy adult lifestyle beverages for any occasion.  All of our ciders and wines contain little to no residual sugar and are inherently low in calories.  We support local farmers using only sustainably and organically sourced fruits, including blueberries, apples and more from our organic estate farm.  Our ciders and wines are raw, wild, unfined, unfiltered, and unpasteurized. We want you to feel good about what you drink!

Greetings All,

We are so happy to be back at the market and to see everyone!

We will be back at market this week! Come see Farmers Liz & Rich for our organic salad mix, Brussels sprouts, baby kale, hakurei turnips, watermelon radishes, and more. We will also be bringing a wide selection of organic garden plants like strawberries, kale, broccoli, snap peas, spinach, arugula, cabbage, kohlrabi, and collards to help you start your spring garden. You can preorder through our website until 7 AM on Tuesday. We also offer home delivery on Tuesdays within Fearrington Village, Briar Chapel, and surrounding areas if you cannot make it to market. https://www.honeybeehillsfarm.com/

Perry-winkle Farm

The flowers made us do it!  Last week it was obvious that we needed to come to market to be able to share our February Gold daffodils.  Well, they are still opening (even though it is March!) so Michael will be coming back this week.  We are also harvesting the last of our winter kale crop so there will be bags of mixed kale leaves.

Our youngest hens (the pullets) have begun laying eggs like crazy.  Michael will be bringing a cooler of these smaller eggs.  Some of our customers believe that these are the best, because there is a higher percentage of yolk to egg white.  They come with a smaller price tag, too, so stop by and pick up a dozen!

with gratitude,
