FIBER INTERNET Twin Lakes will be installing the cabinets and Mitchell Creek Marina will be running and terminating the wire. Once installed, you can call Twin Lakes at 931-879-5811 to schedule an installation or get more information on pricing. The first installation to your boat is free, but there will be a cost of $40 reinstallation fee billed through Mitchell Creek after that. We are excited about this new addition offered to our customer and hope all enjoy!
REMINDERS
Now that the new power system is up and running please be aware of the issues that may arise when plugging your houseboats back into the pedestals. When the power went down and was disconnected, under state code we were forced to install a completely new electrical system with Ground Fault Breakers that ONLY allow 30mA (milliAmps) of leakage from your boat. With that being said, unless you have had your boat inspected by a marine electrician and are still having issues please do not call the marina office with complaints about the new system. This is something that we were forced to do and understand that it is frustrating, but is best for all of us to be able to enjoy the lake around the marina. Please see the two attached links that explain current leakage and the new code that we are forced to follow. NOTE: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANYONE ENTER THE NEW - LOCKED - CAGE THAT HOUSES THE ELECTRIC PANELS. If you are caught inside the cage you will be asked to leave the marina immediately.
