Spring is in the air...

Hello Friends,
This month we're thinking about recharging and mentally preparing for a life to start opening up again. Here in the UK the plants are starting to wake up and the longer days are starting to make it feel like Spring is really here.

Here are a few updates for this month:

• Last week we had our first weekend group and it was a great success. We talked about what we do to relax and shared tips on what we do to stay mentally and physically well. We hope to make the weekend groups a regular feature and we'll let you know when this happens!
   
• We still have spaces on our Art Collective and end of month Open Minds group and you can sign up here - https://www.theopenmindsproject.org/our-events
  
  At this month's Open Minds group we'll be thinking about how we're stronger together as a community and I think we'll have some powerful and uplifting conversations.
   
• This month we are proud to share the story of Lucky Roy Singh on our website. His story is a real reminder about the hardships that we can face in Punjabi cultures when we look or behave differently from what people expect of us. • We've had a couple of requests to create an online group - like a Whatsapp group - for our Open Minds community. At the moment we're looking at using Discord and if anyone wants to support us with this - please get in touch.
