UpToDate offers educational pieces called The Basics, specifically written in plain language, and which address key questions on a given condition. This information can also be printed in easy-to-read format as a handout.

You can access UpToDate on any device, wherever you are, and we offer two methods of signing in:

• OpenAthens accounts
Choose the option 'OpenAthens' on the UpToDate login page, and enter your account details.
You will also need to use OpenAthens if you are using the UpToDate app (download the app for Apple or Google devices.)

• From an EKHUFT staff PC
Every EKHUFT staff member has direct, login-free access to UpToDate when using a Trust-networked PC.
Look for the UpToDate icon in your ZENworks app launcher and follow the link.

Access to most of our online resources is via the OpenAthens single-sign-on service.
If you've got an account already, you're all set. If not, register for an OpenAthens account - it's all free and quick to complete.
