Over the coming years Earthwatch will collect data and assess the benefit of the South Park Tiny Forest. Alongside the help of the local community they will use this site to monitor carbon absorption, flood mitigation, thermal comfort, and biodiversity, as well as measure environmental and social benefits gained.

Did you know that Redbridge has a delegated Out of Schools Settings Team working in the Borough? They provide advice and training for all activity provisions outside of school that children and young people attend from ages 5 to 18 years old, whether its sport, art, drama, scouts, guides, music, tuition, supplementary schooling, breakfast and after school activities.
They also help providers understand and implement best practice as well as offering parents and carers advice on how to select the best provision for their chid. The team will be introducing a bespoke Membership programme to help promote these invaluable provisions throughout our Borough.
Scrutiny Committees provide independent examination of policies and decisions about local services through locally elected council members who represent Redbridge constituencies. They aim to improve services by questioning service delivery, monitoring performance, and making recommendations before the decision-making process.
The next Overview Committee is coming up on Monday 19 April. Overview Committee has responsibility for pre-decision scrutiny, they can consider items on the Forward Plan in advance of Cabinet and question Cabinet Members on their reports.
As the situation around Covid-19 is constantly evolving, Vision are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our customers. We will continue to monitor the situation and will open services, facilities and events/activities when safe to do so.
