Ellen Cameron, selected for prestigious fellowship, shares her research studying cyanobacteria
Ellen Cameron, a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo, has been selected for the European Molecular Biology Laboratory - European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI)-Sanger postdoctoral fellowship in England. She also shares insights gained from her research using DNA sequencing to study cyanobacteria communities in low-nutrient, clear lakes in Northern Ontario.

Investigating the impacts of contemporary forest havesting on drinking water treatability
Soosan Bahramian, a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo, shares the insights from her Master's research looking into best management practices (BMPs) for contemporary forest harvesting. BMPs are loosely defined as techniques used to prevent or minimize the impacts of forest harvesting in a watershed.
