As you know AAPS is working hard in the courts and in DC to make sure the PPACA is abolished.
This battle to end ObamaCare, however, very well may come down to the outcome of the 2012 elections.
To make sure the citizens of this country are fully informed about the consequences of government-run medicine - before they cast crucial votes, AAPS is ramping up our outreach to the biggest voter block of them all ... patients. Yes, patients comprise 100% of the the voter block!
Obama will spend tens of millions of dollars trying to convince swing voters that ObamaCare is a good thing. We need to INOCULATE people against this disinformation campaign. It is imperative that we reach people NOW before this Tsunami of Obama money hits. Obama’s millions will be worthless if we can reach our fellow Americans with a message from America's doctors about the true dangers and consequences of top down control of our medical system.
To do this we are exponentially growing our Internet communication network with patients. Since 2008 we have grown from reaching about 5,000 people a week to 50,000 per week now. Increasing this another 10x to 500,000 is our next goal and we are confident we can accomplish this.
But we need your help to make sure the message gets out that doctors are opposed to ObamaCare because it will harm their patients!
To make the initial contact with patients we are offering them a free Stop ObamaCare bumper sticker. This has proven extremely popular and we have already had 6,000 requests for a sticker in less than 1 week.
This accomplishes two immediate goals:
