Guidance Update March 2021

Night School

The second spring session of night school will be held March 29 - May 20. Classes will be on Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-6:30, and will be online.
If your child has been signed up for night school, they received an email from me today, March 24th, and an information letter was mailed to the home address on file this week. Students should continue to monitor their ECSD email accounts for more information about night school.
Night school is for credit recovery for core classes: English, math, science and social studies. If your child fails a core class, they will need to retake it to be on track for graduation.

2021-2022 Registration

I have started to check each student's course requests for accuracy and completion, and will reach out to them if I have questions or concerns. If you would like to meet with me regarding your child's schedule, please reach out to me at eglidden@ecsdfl.us, or 475-5257 ext. 233.

The deadline for course change requests is June 4, 2021.

Dual Enrollment

Students who have met Dual Enrollment Eligibility requirements (GPA and testing) were sent an email with next steps prior to spring break.
If your child needs to take the PERT test, or retake one section, please have them reach out to me.

Community Service Books

Hard copies of the community service book have arrived! This form needs to be signed by both students and parents before students can receive a book. Students can come directly to my office to receive a book; there is no need to make a separate appointment.
The first community service book is free; replacement books are $5.
