In the first quarter of this milestone year, I want to take an opportunity to say hello as the Women’s Leadership Developer for the CRCNA. This newly shaped role was integrated into Pastor Church Resources this past year, giving it increased influence in supporting congregations and leaders with resources to foster greater personal and communal health.

This year marks 25 years of ordaining women in the role of Minister of the Word, Commissioned Pastor, and Elder. It took many years of prayer, study, dialogue, and conviction to get us to June 1996, and our commitment for women to flourish in their gifts for the health and mission of the church continues still today. Thank you for your role in our shared commitment!

Ellen Duffield is a reflective practitioner with a heart to help people and organizations create environments in which both men and women can thrive. A lead pastor for 10 years she has over 40 years experience in nonprofit and church leadership and leadership development. Ellen is a co-founder of NextLEVEL Leadership, the founder of Brave Women and Girls.

Following the April 22nd event we’ll launch discussion groups to work through Ellen’s book: The Brave Way over five weeks in June.
