HERE'S THE JUICE FOR THIS WEEK, FRIENDS

I think it's pretty fair to say that the seasons have now turned, and we're going to be looking at a bit more cooler and wetter weather. Great news if you're a fan of red wine. It's your time to shine now and we've got plenty of special things floating about to make staying in much more enjoyable.

On the Australian front, the Hochkirch Syrah is back and just as good as ever. John has made the decision with this wine to bottle with no added S02 and it's tasting as concentrated and fresh as the amazing 2017 vintage. We also have John's Pinot Noir back in stock from his Tarrington vineyard. This wine is another classic every year. If you like Pinot and you haven't tried this wine, what are you actually doing?

The Koerner boys have just dropped their 2020 vintage edition of The Clare, a Bordeaux inspired blend from the Clare Valley of South Australia. Such a well balanced wine. Soft, but firm etc. Get around it if you've not tried. If you have you probably don't need much encouragement.

There are still a few bottles of Gut Oggau's Josephine and Joschuari floating about down here too as well as the Bertholdi if you want to really ball out on some incredible Austrian wine.

On the Italian front, La Stoppa's 2010 Barbera della Stoppa is an absolute Tour de Force just waiting for those rich protein dishes. Leaving Emilia-Romagna and heading down to Tuscany now where you can find ANOTHER crowd favourite, the side project of Elisabetta Foradori, Ampeleia! The Unlitro is an absolute gem of a wine, which comes in a 1 litre bottle. The perfect size bottle for two people when one person isn't drinking.

OBVIOUSLY, the French red section is jumping too with the likes of Alex Foillard's Côte de Brouilly, from Roussillon, Les Petites Mises En Face and Vin Rouge, the heavy hitting La Presse from Francois Blanchard, as well as a few little Jura treats sprinkled about the place.

I'll also let you all know that we will be expecting the latest release of Lucy Margaux wines most likely next week so keep your eyes peeled as the quantities are very limited.

Yes, the traffic may be back on the road but we will continue to deliver! If you're not aware, we are on the road 5 days a week, Tuesday-Saturday delivering same day for orders placed before 1pm within 15km of the Melbourne CBD. There's no minimum spend to be eligible.

Want to send wine to a friend? We can help! Want to include a note with the delivery? We do that too! Just leave your message in the delivery instructions and we will make sure they get it.

Sydney we haven't forgotten about you, in fact, we can offer next day delivery twice a week! Order on or before midday Tuesday to get your wines by Wednesday. Order on or before midday Thursday to get your wines by Friday! A flat shipping rate applies, unless you spend over $150 then we will cover the shipping cost. Howzzat!

Metro Brissy and Byron Bay, we can get your wines to you with a two day turnaround if you order by midday Tuesday. Shipping is $15 unless you spend $200 then delivery is free! 

For everywhere else, we can usually get your wines to you in around 4 days using Australia Post.
