HOLY WEEK: March 28th - April 4th
March 28th is Palm Sunday. Our worship will include two very special additions. The preschool children will be singing the special music, and our youth are performing a wonderful skit "live" from Jerusalem. You will not want to miss this celebration of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
There will be NO MIDWEEK CONNECTION this week (March 31st)
A special worship for Maundy Thursday will be available online all day Thursday, April 1st. This is a full worship including scripture, prayer, music presented by our full music team, and a message by Pastor John.
On Good Friday, April 2nd, we will have a shorter more contemplative worship service available similar to the Ash Wednesday service this year. It will be available online all day Friday.
Don't miss this year's Easter worship service on Sunday, April 4th. We have been recording many members of our choir and others over the past couple of months preparing for this holiest of Sundays. The service will include dramatic readings, a full virtual choir singing, and a liturgical dance. Please invite your friends and encourage your neighbors and family to watch as well. The service will only be available on YouTube for 5 days because of copyright restrictions with the drama we are using.

Buy/Sell Tickets:
Paper Tickets: There are paper tickets available in the office. You can check out a batch of tickets and sell them to your friends and neighbors. You can also buy individual tickets (check or exact change only) There is a sign out sheet in the office along with the tickets, so we can track who checked out tickets and how many. Selling tickets in advance is the number one volunteer need.
~Pastor John will be in the office today (March 25th) till 5pm, and Tuesday (March 30th) 1-4pm.
~Ellen Sargent is available (and very willing) to meet anyone at the church for tickets by appointment. Text/call Ellen (760) 445-3108.
Online Tickets: The link on the poster leads to a website where you can/will be able to purchase tickets online. The website stopped working earlier this week, but we are in the process of getting it back up and running hopefully by Friday, March 26th.

Preschool Advisory Team Needs
PLASTIC EGGS & CANDY!
The Easter Bunny is coming to our Little Peoples Learning Center and needs your help! The preschool is holding their annual egg hunt on Thursday, April 1st. We’d love to have your help. We’re taking donations of plastic eggs (regular size) and individually wrapped candy to fill them. If you prefill them, please only 1-2 pieces per egg so it’s fair to all the hunters. There will be a box in the Narthex (entryway of the church) by the door for you to drop off your donations. Please have your donation turned in by MONDAY, March 29th, so we can get the eggs counted and filled. We’re hoping for 1,000 eggs! Thank you for your support of our terrific preschool!

Lenten Prayer Partners
Just a friendly reminder to our Prayer Partners to keep up your daily prayers for your partner. We are now in the last week of our Lenten journey. This is your last chance to sent a note or email to your prayer partner. Remember, the office is here to help with that. Here are some options for how to do that.
Don't forget that NEXT WEEK you will want to prepare and mail a nice EASTER CARD and reveal yourself to your prayer partner, if you have not done so already. Make sure you mail it early enough to get it there by Saturday, April 2nd before Easter.
Mail Them a Letter: You can use the church as a return address if you want to remain anonymous. Put this as the return address on your envelope:

Staff and Pastor on Vacation
The office will be closed and Pastor John, Tim, and Deb will be on vacation the week after Easter, April 5th - April 10th. There will be no Midweek Connection on April 7th. There will be no office hours on April 8th. The Worship team has put a lot of work in getting ready for Easter starting almost the first week of January, and they are ready for a much deserved break. The worship service for April 11th will be a regular worship service.

- You buy a gift card (for example, a $25 Albertsons Card).
- You go to Albertsons and spend the gift card to buy $25 worth of items.
It costs you nothing extra, however the church is charged $1 less than $25 for the card and gets to keep the 4% difference. It’s a simple idea that can raise money for the church while you just keep doing what you are already doing.
Amazon (2.25%) is one of the many, many companies that participates in the scrip program. Companies where the church receives the highest giving amounts include Old Navy (14%), Gap (14%), Bath & Body Works (12%), Chili's (11%), Macy's (10%), Rubio's (10%), Chipotle (10%), Barnes & Noble (8%), Domino's (8%), Buffalo Wild Wings (8%), Panera Bread (8%), Starbucks (7%) and TJ Maxx (7%).

CD/ DVD Worship Service Ministry
If you, or someone you know, has trouble viewing our worship service on YouTube or Zoom, we are happy to send out a CD or DVD copy of the worship service each week instead. We are already doing this, so adding a few new people would not be much additional work. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the weekly worship services. The disks usually arrive in the mail on Thursday or Friday of each week following the Sunday worship service. This service is free, as our Good Samaritan Fund covers the very minimal cost of Media Mail rate from the Post Office.

Midweek Connection is a Wednesday night virtual gathering of the Ramona UMC Community. Our gatherings are at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Please join us for a time of Connection, Encouragement, and Discipleship. How to Lift up a Prayer Request to be Shared in Worship
Since we are recording our Sunday morning worship services on Saturday morning (so the quality of the music is better and there is no fear of the Internet signal dropping), we cannot ask for prayer requests during the worship service.
Because of this arrangement, prayer concerns for worship can be submitted throughout the week but have to be turned in by
10:00 am on Saturday to be sure they are included in Sunday's worship service when it premieres. You can send us your prayer concerns anytime one of the following three different ways.

How To Watch Worship
HOW DO I FIND THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
Our worship premiers on YouTube each Sunday morning at 9:45 am. You can watch it along with many others for the first time from 9:45 to 10:45 every Sunday morning. By 11:00 am, it is available on YouTube to start and stop whenever you like, so you can watch it on your own schedule and convenience. At that point you can also pause, rewind and fast forward.

We have a page on our website where everything you need for Sunday morning is in one place. The worship service plays right on the page. There are links to a printable bulletin and links to our Zoom Chat time before worship. If you have a computer or tablet, the website is a great place to start.

All of our worship services are uploaded on our YouTube channel. If you use the above link, it will take you to our Channel which is like a webpage on YouTube. Here you can easily find all of our previous worship services. On this page you should see a "SUBSCRIBE" button. If you press that button and subscribe to our channel, you will get instant updates whenever we upload a new worship services or other video.

When we first began online-only worship, it was on Zoom meetings. We are still using Zoom for our pre-worship chat time. Zoom is an app you download onto your computer, tablet, or smart phone that allows you to audio and/or video conference with others. It is a great place to start your Sunday morning at 9:20 before the worship begins. Use the link above to learn how to download and install Zoom. For a few who prefer to still use this method, we are continuing to show the full worship service on Zoom as well.

Record your Attendance each Sunday
Check-in online! Remember during each service on Sundays, to click the QR Code with your phone and check in online. Have your phone ready to scan the code. You can use the app on your phone to scan the code right off your computer screen, TV, or iPad. The code each week is unique and automatically fills in the date of the worship service you are watching. This way it works even if you are watching a replay of an older service.
Do You Need A QR Code Reader?
Apple phones come with the QR code reader app. If you have another device like an Android phone, you will need to install the app. Simply open your App store, or Play Store and search for "Trend Micro QR Scanner" This is the best version of the app that I have found. Then install the free program. On Sunday, open this app and use it to scan the QR code. As soon as the app sees the QR Code on the screen, it will automatically take you to the attendance page. Just type in your name(s), email address, click submit, and you are done.
