March marks a somber anniversary, a year since the shift to mostly online teaching and learning. Instructors and students alike are still actively living ambiguous losses and dealing with burnout and/or demoralization, while being told to plan for a return to normal. Call for Proposals: Teach Access Curriculum Development Awards

The Teach Access fund is offering $5,000 grants to faculty in engineering, computer science, user experience, or related fields. The national awards program is intended to assist with developing modules, presentations, exercises or curriculum enhancements, or changes that introduce the fundamental concepts and skills of accessible design and development into existing courses. Applications are due Friday, April 16.

Embracing complexity: an inclusive framework for the scholarship of educational development
CTE assistant directors Elizabeth Dickens and Lindsay Wheeler, along with their coauthors, published their article exploring a proposed framework that hopes to provide a new way of looking at the current diversity–and possibility–of the scholarship of educational development. The article is published in the International Journal for Academic Development and can be accessed through the UVA Library.
