A little treat is on it’s way…
With any luck, for all those who have given me your physician addresses, your packs should arrive on Saturday. [And if you haven’t yet done so, get in touch quick - we have Palm crosses and Ribbons and all sorts of Holy Week Things ready to go next week!]
But if not, don’t worry: you don’t need them to join in with the live interaction on Sunday afternoon
Instead, the packs are designed to give you some things to think about… and even munch on… through next week.
In our Sunday Zoom this week we are reflecting on what it means to welcome each other into Jesus’ family – the church in action right here – drawing inspiration from a story from Jesus’ life. We'll tell the story of what happened when some Greeks wanted to meet with Jesus, and approached his friends, Philip and Andrew….
I wonder, how do we respond when people really different from us want to join in? What gifts do they offer? What makes it scary?
Hoping to join us online this week?
If you are joining us for live interaction, you might want to bring your candles, and a set of housekeys.
As always, make yourself at home by bringing drinks, crafts, etc (there is a colouring in the pack, or download an extra one here), but don’t feel you have to. You are most welcome just as you are!
In preparation, you might like to try to remember who you first met when you came to Northstowe, and who has helped you feel welcome within the church family and wider community. You might even like to tell us about it during the session.
