On Thursday, February 11th, Harford County Cultural Arts Board joined hundreds of arts advocates around the state (virtually!) to celebrate Maryland Arts Day, an annual event dedicated to communicating the economic (over $1 Billion!) and cultural value of Maryland's arts sector. The event is hosted by Maryland Citizens for the Arts.
Speakers and guests from Harford County included representatives from our leading arts and cultural organizations, as well as staff from Delegate Mary Ann Lisanti's, and Rick Impallaria's offices.
A huge THANK YOU to all community arts advocates who took time to attend.

Arts and Sciences Project Grants funded by
Baltimore County Government
Community-based, not-for-profit organizations such as arts organizations, museums, drama groups, or music groups in Maryland are eligible to apply for funding for arts activities that serve County residents. Project Grants provide funding support for specific projects, such as performances, exhibits, lectures, classes and workshops. General operating support is not available through Project Grants. Maryland Humanities has announced the selection for One Maryland One Book 2021:The Book of Delights: Essays by Ross Gay. In this collection of genre-defying lyric essays, poet Gay records the delights he experienced each day over the course of one year.
