Inspire - Care - Succeed
‘HEAD’ Lines
To our parents and carers – THANK YOU
For your support
Understanding
Patience
Engagement
We know lockdown hasn’t been easy
Thank you for working with us
It’s great to have your children back in school
Back to routines
Back to face-to-face learning
Back to seeing their friends
We will celebrate what they have achieved
And help them to achieve even more
Together with you, we will do our best for your children
Stay safe and well and enjoy the weekend with your children
Please encourage your son/daughter to use their SCHOOL EMAIL for work rather than their own private email. This is important for safeguarding and also some of our messages for students are being sent to school email addresses.
Please see below for the ‘Word of the Week’. These words have specifically been chosen as they are both useful and sophisticated whilst encouraging challenge and extended vocabulary use. Please challenge your child (and yourself!) to use this week’s word as much as possible at home, in conversations, and in their work!

THINK YOU DON’T HAVE TIME FOR BOOKS?
We have approximately 100 Super reads on our new bookshelf just by the entrance of the LRC, so even if you don’t much time to read a long story, these short books will help you beat the clock and discover a whole new world of reading for pleasure. Their topical storylines and powerful characters guarantee you a thrilling and memorable read.
These new Super read titles are available for you to borrow NOW from the LRC!
Happy reading, Mrs Coward, LRC Manager.
