Hey! This store update is occuring during a national tragedy.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area—here are two organizations that aid our working-class Asian immigrant residents: the Chinese Progressive Association and Asian Immigrant Women Advocates.
If you can, please lend your support, whether local to me or local to you.

A gaggle of ceramic creatures with simple round unglazed faces. From left to right: a very small horned creature with a blue ribbon; three orbs stacked on each other, garlanded with arms; a small horned creature with a flaring scalloped skirt; a creature shaped like a house with a turret, standing on two legs; another three-stack creature, much smaller, yelling.

Hello everyone,

The Clayfellows store will update on Saturday March 20, 1PM PST. We have moved to a new website! Fellows are already up for your previewing enjoyment.

oh my god, a new website!

Why? The old website kept selling the same sculpture twice, and I hated that. Will that happen on this website? Almost definitely not, but we’ll all find out together.

The URL remains clayfellows.com, but the old Storenvy site will not be updated. Don’t go there. Go to the new one instead.

Additional news: I am raising prices.

I double-checked my timekeeping and did some math and a price increase is necessary for Clayfellows to remain personally sustainable.

The most elaborate coinfaced vessels got the most dramatic increase—having some outliers subsidizes the little guys and keeps them accessible.

Fellows are individually handcrafted, and if you see a piece you like, here's your reminder that I might never repeat it. (Except for the winged homelyfellows. I have a bunch of those in progress.)

Also, the last time I updated, the store sold out in six minutes. It’s okay if it takes longer this time.

Last bit of news: I’m pausing international shipping on larger fellows because it’s been unreliable for other small business owners lately and it’s also stupid expensive. Small guys are still cleared to globetrot.

Thanks for your patience! The next update should take fewer than three months, in large part because I won’t be redoing the whole website.

I’m proud of this batch of fellows, and I’m grateful for your interest in my work.

fondly,
Z.
