BMC Speaker Series: The Road Less Travelled

Ryan is a digital interactive artist, programmer, and video game designer currently focused on narrative VR, serious, and accessible games. The first decade of his career was spent as a UI/UX designer, programmer, and software architect for Davita Healthcare, a Fortune 500 company. Ryan currently serves as Creative Director and Head of Narrative for Numinous Games, a studio he co-founded in 2012.In his talk, Ryan will tell how the stories he over which he had no control shaped his work and his studio’s journey. Call for Lab Mentors
Register by May 7
The GLSE is seeking volunteeres who will mentor undergraduate students in years 1-4 in your lab for the Grad Shadowing Program. The Grad Shadowing Program will take place virtually between May 31 – July 31, 2021. The length of the shadowing can range from 1-3 days and must be agreed upon between the undergraduate student and his/her graduate mentor. The time schedule is also at the discretion of the graduate student. Register here.

Did you know that many awards are counted toward the base funding that you receive from your supervisor? This means that in the event that you win an award, your stipend will be reduced by the value of it if it is over $2000.
