St. Elizabeth Ann Seton middle school students enjoyed a day of praise music with Nashville musician PJ Anderson plus other faith-filled activities during their school-wide retreat. Thank you to all those who planned this day of reflection, prayer and joy as we prepare for Easter.
Senior Cookout
On this feast of St. Joseph, the seniors enjoyed a special cookout AND a dispensation from the Lenten fast from meat. It was a glorious day of grilled eats, sunshine and friendships.
St. Joseph Day
On St. Joseph Day, students wore red and sought the intercessions of Saint Joseph during this Year of St. Joseph as declared by Pope Francis.
Food Pantry Restock
Students at Immaculate Conception Elementary took the opportunity of the St. Joseph feast day to restock our parish food pantry. Thank you to everyone who contributed to support our community.
Joseph’s spiritual path “is not one that explains, but accepts” — which does not mean that he is “resigned.” Instead, he is “courageously and firmly proactive,” because with “Holy Spirit’s gift of fortitude,” and full of hope, he is able “to accept life as it is, with all its contradictions, frustrations and disappointments.” – Vatican News

March 27 10:00 am (Set up for Palm Sunday) March 28 2:00 pm (Clean up from Palm Sunday) March 31 4:30 pm (Set up for Holy Thursday) April 1, evening, after Holy Thursday Mass (Set up for Good Friday service) April 2 after Good Friday veneration, approximately 2:00 (Set up for Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses)
We are in need of a family or two to cover some upcoming Saturdays for serving sack lunches to the homeless and needy in front of the St. Francis Gym from 11:30-12:30. Help is needed for Saturday, March 27 and various dates in April-June. Click on the link to sign up https://signup.com/go/TzJiOKK Glad Meals have been so blessed with all the amazing volunteers covering Saturdays as we continue outdoors meals to help others in our community.
