Children's House Outdoor Volunteers Needed!
4-5 adults are needed to begin the installation of the Children's House fence.
The goal for this day will be to set the posts. There will be a backhoe onsite to dig the holes- YAY!
Volunteers will be:
- mixing concrete
- setting posts
- and moving dirt.
Brent Thompson, HIH Head of Construction, would greatly appreciate your help and the teachers will be so excited to have their fence!

Reach for the Stars
Our spring fund raiser kicked off this week.
Each student has time over their spring break to read, or have a parent read to them (birth -kindergarten), and collect pledges for the benefit of HIH and themselves!
The pledges (or donations) your child collected earns money both for HIH and books they can select at the on-line book fair.
Look for details in the parent letter, reading record, and pledge sheet that came home with your child.

BEAMS Track & Field Season
For: Boys & Girls grades 5-8
When: We hope to have five track meet competitions beginning in mid-April and continuing for four - five weeks.
- Practice begins the last week of March (Monday, March 29th)
- at Concordia Academy 2400 N. Dale St., Roseville
- Mondays and Tuesdays, 5:00 – 6:30 pm
Events will include: short sprints, long distance running, throwing, jumping, and hurdling.
Transportation: Although students will need to get their own rides to practices, a team bus will transport students to the meets and then back to Concordia Academy.
Cost: $75

HIH Spring Legacy Gala Date Change
Please take note that HIH annual Legacy Gala has been moved to Saturday April 24th. We are hoping to see many of you there!

Here’s another way to contribute and also foster community in this moment of things opening up in our society where people are excited to gather! If you offer services or have special skills (knitting, cooking, mechanics, etc.), you could offer a class or a catered dinner party. There are many options, including but not limited to:
-cooking class
-catering for a small dinner party
-offering a knitting class for 10 people
-hosted pool party in the summer
-hosted backyard summer movie
-hosted lock-in at our new school building!
-ladies luncheon or retreat
-men’s small basketball tournament
-or to auction a session on a boat or
-weekend at the cabin
-group lefse class
