Cindy and I got our second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine last week. Just another week to go before we are very well protected. Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m rushing out to be around large crowds of people. I’ll still be wearing my mask. I’ll never be shaking hands with anyone again. I’m still going to be cautious. But I will say that it is a relief to have that done!

Now, if there was only a vaccine to make me super-productive, because I seem to have fallen off that wagon—and it is frighteningly difficult to get back on it. If you’ve been following this newsletter, you know I have plenty of work to do. I just seem to have trouble getting it done.
Okay. That’s not entirely true.
I’ve been doing plenty of work. I’ve been doing lots of interviews. I’ve been putting together marketing assets. I’ve been building Kickstarter campaigns. I’ve been creating content for upcoming RPG projects.
I’m just not getting scripts written right now. And I need to! Because... for now... that’s where my money comes from. I have a goal to always have a certain amount of completed projects awaiting payment. I can look at that list of projects and know how much money I have coming in over the next few weeks. The number of items on that list is starting to dip below a number I’m comfortable with, so I’ve gotta get it back in the green!
That means I’m buckling down in the coming week and focusing (as much as I can) on scripting and only scripting. I say that, but I look at my schedule for next week and realize I have something EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. So... downtime to recoup is going to be tough. Check back next week to see how I’ve done! Perhaps I’ll still have some faculties about me.

- APRIL 2021 - PHANTOM ON THE SCAN - a new horror limited series with Mark Torres. A tale of psychic powers and the terrible price that comes with them.
- APRIL 2021 - SHADOWMAN from Valiant. Shadowman is the Valiant Universe’s premier supernatural hero, protecting mankind from the Deadside.
