Brothers,
We have had a great start of the 2021 Spring semester! We have a new cabinet, new pledge class, and 5 newly initiated brothers. The Covid regulations on what Greek Life can do are opening up and allowing us to do more social events. We have many mixers, philanthropies, and more coming up real soon and we are excited to share. The new house is coming up and we cant wait to see what is in store for the Theta Tau Chapter here at Tennessee Tech!

A couple of the grad brothers have reached out about what we are doing for Pig Dinner. As of now we are thinking of having a formal pig dinner closer to when the house is done, and we can all go and tour around the finished house. We still want to have a time this semester to have the Undergrads and Grads hang-out. A solution to this is to possibly have an informal “Pig Dinner” and get some tee-times at the local golf course. Currently it is spring break, so when we all get back, we will make a final decision on the date, times, and what exactly we are going to do on this date. An idea has also been brought up to me to sell T-shirts to bring in some money for more brotherhood opportunities like this. All dates, times, T-shirt designs and more about this will be sent in an update email as soon as they are finalized.

The Newly Initiated Brothers
Spring 2020 Pledge Class, Gamma Phi:
At the beginning of the Spring of 2021 we initiated 5 new brothers. During their pledge semester they showed there dedication and persistence throughout the untraditional semester we had because of Covid. We were unable to go to Lexington, due to Covid, and since the house was demolished/being built, we had to make other plans and initiate them at a couple of the brother's house. We all are very thrilled to be able to call them brothers of the Theta Tau Chapter and excited to see what they will do for our fraternity.

Our Philanthropy: Paws for a Cause
We are doing something a little bit different this year, its called Paws for a Cause. We will have the participating sororities dress up a dog of their choice to see who can dress the most patriotic, and also we will have a small obstacle course to see which dog can come out on top in a head-to-head competition.

We placed third in DPhiE's philanthropy this year. Jacob Hill competed in the Deepher Dude competition and shredded his guitar.
