Ballard-Interbay Industrial Lands working group is gathering organizational support across the city. We have support from Seattle Transit Riders Union, 350 Seattle, Seattle Neighborhood Greenways and the 36th Legislative District Democrats.

Upgrade King County is nervously anticipating a vote in the WA State Senate this week, concerning the WA State Public Broadband Act. We meet every other Thursday at 8 pm. Check out our advocacy toolkit.

Housing Justice, Housing Stability and Ending Apartment Bans
Share The Cities collaborates with many organizations in Seattle to support housing justice and community stability.

We recently hosted a fantastic workshop to prepare people to engage in Seattle design review. We are also asking people to take action so Seattle can study the impacts of Seattle's Historic Preservation program. Click here for the Action Letter.

Please attend the Monday Vigil 3/22 9:30 AM

Please read this March 19, 2021 article from The Seattle Times "Stand up against anti-Asian hatred, misogyny and violence"

"We encourage people from all communities to join the vigils, rallies and/or marches being planned by our AAPI communities. Notably, API Chaya’s Outreach Project is coordinating a vigil at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 22, at Hing Hay Park in the Chinatown International District neighborhood of downtown Seattle to honor the lives lost in Atlanta, and all those impacted by anti-Asian violence. Join us and stand up against hatred, misogyny and violence.

We encourage Share The Cities' community members to support API Chaya's Virtual Gala on Saturday, April 24.
Please pay rent to the Duwamish, take action to defund SPD by at least 50%, and work with folks living outside in your community to make sure they are safe. Seattle Transit Riders Union Solidarity Fund buys propane for neighbors experiencing homelessness.
