Spring Newsletter

Spring has sprung!

Happy Spring to you all - we hope that as the sun begins to come out, we will all begin easing out of lockdown. In this newsletter, we look at how Spring can be the best season to start thinking about making energy efficiency improvements in your home. Earth Day is coming up soon on the 22nd April, and we found this interesting article by earthday.org on things happening in 2021 to look out for.  The well known Money Saving Expert website has recently launched the first in a series of green money saving guides with lots of tips for saving money while reducing your impact on the planet - we think it is worth a read as we learned a few new things!  Local elections are coming up across Sussex, so it's worth investigating what actions your local candidates have pledged to address the climate emergency - we've included a link to an article with advice on how to encourage action, if needed.  Finally, now that our webinar series are available to watch online, we ask for your input on any ideas for future webinars you'd like to see.
Thinking about giving your home a Spring makeover?
Spring is a great season to get started thinking about making home energy efficiency improvements. Many home improvements are best undertaken in summer, when the weather is good and it is easy to be outside to manage the works. Planning retrofit improvements at the same time as a kitchen or bathroom refits, extension or loft conversion can help to minimise disruption and costs. Even if you are only in the early stages of your plans, our Plan Builder can help your budgeting and our Retrofit Coordinators can help with bespoke expert advice.

To start planning your options, you can read more about our Plan Builder here:
