Covid-19 – one year on and a day to reflect. Tomorrow marks the anniversary of the first UK lockdown – 23 March 2020. The Church of England has partnered with Marie Curie as part of a national day of reflection and everyone is encouraged to participate in ‘a minute’s silent reflection’ at 12 noon. Together we can look back on our collective loss, support those who have been bereaved, and share hope for a brighter future.

Dates for wellbeing training in March and April are here. We've summarised some of the available sessions below:

Personal Power: Sometimes a good dose of self-compassion and a boost to reignite what’s already within us can make all the difference to our confidence and self-esteem. True confidence is about conquering the intangible fears we face on a daily basis, and the best news? All these can be learned.

Beating Burnout: How much energy do you feel able to bring to your work currently? How much is left for your personal life? Join us for 90-minutes as we explore the topics of burnout and compassion fatigue, increasing our understanding of our current energy levels and identifying strategies to recharge our batteries.

Way To Wellbeing: If you are interested in finding out some hints and tips to boost your health and wellbeing then this is the training for you. With plenty of opportunity for discussion this training will act as a timely check-in for anyone who feels like they need to go back to basics.

Shout Out newsletter: Out now, on the bookshelf.
We’ve had a shout out for Louise Bowness, ward clerk at St Oswald’s Hospital: “She’s amazing, whenever we have a query or we need something ordering, she’s on it straightaway. She’s so kind & thoughtful and does an amazing job. I’d like her to get some recognition for all the hard work she does.” Thank you Louise!
