Launch of the OIE-WAHIS Platform
A new era for animal health data
At a time when the world is facing an unprecedented pandemic, the importance of animal disease surveillance is undeniable. To support countries in maintaining global transparency and reporting matters of animal and public health, the OIE has launched the most technologically advanced reference platform for animal disease and veterinary capacities reporting – the World Animal Health Information System or OIE-WAHIS.
This month's issue also features OIE history, news on Twinning activities, PVS Pathway missions, the STAR-IDAZ International Research Consortium on Animal Health and more.
