Applying Professional Scrum (APS) Certification

Scrum is an agile practice that prescribes an empirical and iterative framework to manage product development in a collaborative manner. The product is developed in short steps—sprints—that reflectively create the product. The goal of Scrum is a product that thrills customers.
The three pillars of Scrum are transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
- Transparency: Artifacts, events, and communication must be transparent and visible. Transparency provides trust.
- Inspection: Scrum is a reflective process driven by inspection of artifacts, such as the product backlog.
- Adaptation: Inspection may warrant adaptation to correct or adjust expectations and goals, as part of an iterative process.
Scrum has a proven record for creating successful products. Learn more about Scrum in the upcoming Applying Scrum Professional (APS) event, April 29 and April 30. After class, you are a step closer to certification. Students will receive a complementary voucher to take the Scrum.org certification exam.
