Hopeful Horizons' new office in Walterboro is officially open! CEO Kristin Dubrowski said she’s dreamed of opening an office in Colleton County since she worked with CODA and domestic violence survivors in a small office there in 2004.
“I’m thrilled to see this dream come to life,” she said. “We are grateful to the Coastal Community Foundation and the community for making it possible to expand our services for abuse victims living in and around Colleton County.”

Hopeful Horizons Wins $2,500
The first St. Patrick's Day Flotilla in Savannah was a huge success and Hopeful Horizons is pleased to be named the winner of the People's Choice Award. Thank you for everyone who voted for our organization! The prize was $2,500, which will go a long way toward helping victims of abuse in our community. Thank you to Meredith Bannon, the Hopeful Horizons Board President, for hosting the boat and putting together the winning boat. The Birdies Are Back!
The Heritage Classic Foundation, has announced its two charitable giving programs have been restarted ahead of the 2021 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. Birdies for Charity is an easy and fun way to donate to Hopeful Horizons.
Your donation goes directly to Hopeful Horizons, and the Heritage Classic Foundation contributes an extra 10 percent - and it's up to the golfers to make those birdies!
The 53rd annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will take place April 12-18, 2021. When you purchase a ticket to South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event, you help the Heritage Classic Foundation support its educational and charitable initiatives. A history of giving is the heart of our Heritage, and now that the charitable giving programs have been restarted, the Heritage Classic Foundation can get back to the “heart” of its mission.
