April Market Update


The new normal in real estate is not for the unprepared, uninformed, or unrepresented home buyer. In a marketplace with a clear shortage of homes to purchase, buyers need to calibrate their home buying approach with preparation and guidance. 
 
The present low interest rates and favorable economic forecast are a few contributing factors to the surge in home buying. Due to the current shortage of housing inventory, home affordability is getting more challenging. In many cases, home buyers are not only needing to offer more than a home's listed price on their purchase, but in many cases a winning, strong offer may include substantial financing, a seller-selected close date, and novel approaches to the earnest money. In an environment where multiple offers are the norm, buyers must understand the seller's
interest and work with the best professional to reach homeownership.
