The Quality Counts Stipend Application is almost closed! Please make sure to share the application cut-off date with your colleagues so they can apply for financial support!

Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS): Diving Deeper

Join Allison Biggers in a deeper dive into the Infant Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS) tool.

This training is specially designed for participants who have attended the ITERS/ERS Introduction training. Participants MUST already have ITERS materials and a basic understanding of the tool.

Children are more likely to thrive in early care programs and schools when their families have the support they need. By focusing on the five universal family strengths identified in the Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, early care providers can better engage, support, and partner with parents in order to achieve the best outcomes for kids.

Anti-Bias Education: Justice

Quality Counts San Luis Obispo offers 4 Anti-Bias Education workshops. The focus of this session is justice.

If teachers foster each child’s capacity to critically identify bias and will nurture each child’s empathy for the hurt bias causes, children will increasingly recognize unfairness (injustice), have language to describe unfairness, and understand that unfairness hurts.
