In the era of fake news, consolidated media ownership and tory donor BBC chiefs, we all know the importance of considering how narratives are presented. We see a fairly clear cut example of this in Bristol this week, where, as the #KillTheBill protest continued into last night, footage of heavy boots and riot shields trampling a peaceful sit-in showed that the characterisation of oppressed officer and violent protester might not be the complete picture.

PRSC backs the Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill campaign in Bristol
 The Climate and Ecological Emergency Bill is a game-changing vehicle for positive action. It would ensure that the UK Government plays its fair and proper role in limiting global warming to the 1.5°C recommended by scientists to avert catastrophe. The CEE Bill already has the support of over 100 MPs from eight different parties, including Darren Jones for Bristol North West! But not our other MPs, yet...
The Councils of Portsmouth and South Oxfordshire have just passed declarations of support and called on their MPs to do likewise. The campaign in Bristol is gathering momentum, and there are 3 easy steps that we can take as individuals to help get this bill into law:
