The Office of Outdoor Recreation is excited to continue our partnership with Snowsports Industries America (SIA), the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) and the Utah Outdoor Association (UOA) to put on the Summit Speaker Series. This speaker series dives into outdoor industry issues through education and insider access to industry experts. Check out two April 13th sessions below (one in the morning, one in the afternoon):

What does it mean to be a Trail Town?
Tuesday, April 13 -- 12:00-1:00 PM

As 2020 demonstrated, recreational opportunities and trails are highly valued, shown by the surges in trail use. How can communities, especially rural communities, find ways to improve outdoor recreation opportunities for their residents and visitors?

The Utah Office of Outdoor Recreation and the Utah Trails Forum are thrilled to host Amy Camp, author of the new book "Deciding on Trails: 7 Practices of Healthy Trail Towns" for this very special webinar. Her book is a call to action to trail communities and those that want to cultivate a trail culture, embrace Trail Town best practices, and once and for all, to "decide on trails." Amy will share lessons learned and we'll be giving away a few copies of the book "Deciding on Trails" during the webinar, so this is not an opportunity to miss!
