Message from the Kol Haskalah President

Dear Kol Haskalah community,

It's hard to believe that Passover is right around the corner - first night is Saturday, March 27th. Even harder to believe, this will be our second pandemic Pesach. While it's difficult to face another holiday under Covid19 restrictions, I truly believe that there's a light at the end of the tunnel as more and more people get vaccinated. I strongly urge everyone who is able to be vaccinated to get an appointment as soon as you're eligible. And let's give a round of applause to the scientists who brought us these novel vaccines in record time!

Even though we can't hold our community Seder yet again, we'd still like to cultivate a spirit of community for the holiday. So please take a look at the shared Passover recipes from our community in this link. We can pretend we're having a potluck if we're using some of the same recipes! Feel free to send additional recipes to khaskalah@gmail.com if you'd like them included on this list. Also, if you take photos during your home or virtual Seder, please send them along so we can share them in a future newsletter. Additional local Passover resources can be found in this newsletter.

I hope that you are all doing well through these continuingly trying times. Fingers crossed that we can meet again for in-person events later in the year. We'll keep you posted.

All the best,
Karen Century
President, Kol Haskalah
