SGCS Strategic Planning - Membership Consultation

Over the last five months the SGCS has been working with a consultant, Kate Paterson, to progress the development of a Strategic Plan to guide our organisation over the next five years. The process has pulled together the wealth of information we have gathered from you over the last two years - through the 2019 and 2020 planning days and various surveys - and complemented this with insights from key stakeholders, such as Parks Victoria and local environmental groups.

The SGCS committee has been excited to see a clear vision and mission emerge, as well as constructive discussions about its strengths and opportunities, and its weaknesses and threats. You can read more about the process in the draft plan.

We are now seeking some further input from members to help finalise it. You are invited to a consultation event to:
  • hear more about the draft plan and its development
  • provide input as to what you are interested in and what we need to think about to implement the actions
  • identify any issues or concerns and what you would like to do to address them
Two events are planned:
  • In person: 2pm - 4pm, Sunday 28 March - Andersons Inlet Angling Club, Inverloch
  • Online: 10am - 12pm, Monday 29 March - via zoom
