Our purpose simply put; loving God, serving others, doing no harm.
We seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Dear Friends: Thank God that Spring is here...Holy Week is upon us...and the COVID crisis is slowly beginning to diminish as the vaccination is made available across our nation and world. Jeanie and I are very grateful that we have already been able to receive both vaccination shots. Also we are grateful that many of our friends and congregants at Mt Bethel Church have received the vaccination.
On Palm Sunday, March 28, 10am we will gather together for in-person and livestream Worship from our Sanctuary. We will celebrate the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem as we raise our voices together and sing the hymns: All Glory, Laud, and Honor; Shelter Me; and All Creatures of Our God and King.
Our scripture this week is the Story of the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem from Luke 19. We will focus on the heart and love of Jesus as thousands of people thronged around Him and hailed him as King.
During Holy Week we will gather for our zoom Lenten Bible Study at 4pm on Wednesday studying the book Love Is the Way. Join us! On April 1, we gather for Maundy Thursday Worship service of prayer and repentance at 7pm in our Sanctuary and livestream. We will also celebrate Holy Communion together.
Please join us for these Holy Week Celebrations. This is the time of year that we turn our hearts towards God and thank and worship Him for His love revealed in the cross of Christ. In His Love, Pastor David Click here to read the schedule for our Lent 2021 Events and Worship Services.

Have you procrastinated and not filed your taxes yet? Do not worry.
*The tax filing deadline has been extended to May 17th, 2021 for both Federal and MN State.
* Taxpayers who don't itemize deductions may take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020 to qualifying organizations. For the purposes
of this deduction, qualifying organizations are those that are religious, charitable, educational, scientific or literary in purpose.
* If you have had a qualified mandatory disbursement from an IRA, 403b, 401k sent directly to the church, be careful. You can either claim the income as tax exempt income OR you can claim the charitable donation. You cannot do both. Talk with your tax person.

God is using you for His special purpose to shine His light, to share His love, to shape His people. No matter what condition we are in — suffering or rejoicing — it is better to go through it with the help of others. Together, suffering is more bearable, and rejoicing feels even greater. This past week in worship, the following goodness & burdens were communicated to our church community. Thank you for adding this week’s concerns to your prayer journal. Prayerfully submitted to you, Power Prayers
