An Easter Message from our Executive Director

Hello Kindway Family,

We are well into 2021 and Resurrection Day is near. At Kindway, we are celebrating the announcement that our ministry has been resurrected at Marion Correctional Institution (MCI), after a long break due to COVID. Even more exciting is that we are realizing a long-term goal to plant Kindway in a new prison facility. Our flagship program, EMBARK, has been given life at Pickaway Correctional Institution (PCI)! Consider this: in just a couple of years, the number of restored citizens we welcome home will increase by 50%! We thank the Lord for giving and seeing this vision through.

With the expansion, we were in need of a qualified Men’s Transition Manager. Before you send your resume’, we are thrilled to share that Debo Onabanjo has agreed to join the Kindway team. Debo is an ordained pastor with the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church with a passion for the prison mission field. His love for those in prison is only surpassed by his passion to advance God’s mission to develop mature followers of Christ.

As Easter approaches, we have much for which to be grateful. The promise of life after the grave is indeed cause for celebration. Likewise, the renewed life and expansion of Kindway’s mission after the challenges of 2020 brings us great joy and it is our pleasure to share this with you. Your investment in prayers and resources is making a huge impact to the glory of God the Father.

Christine Money, Executive Director - Kindway
