March 24 PA 6985 Professional Development Seminar - Meet the Faculty

Saturday March 27 MPA Orientation 
All new MPA students are are required to attend an Orientation. This is scheduled for Saturday at 9 am. Anyone is welcome to attend.  The zoom link for that meeting is Here

Advancement to Candidacy Advising
Also this Saturday is ATC Advising for students who have completed at least 5 courses in the program.  If you are unsure whether you are supposed to attend, contact Marisol.  The zoom link is listed on the ATC Web Page.

Under semesters, graduate students need to take summer classes to graduate in a timely manner. PA will offer a full array of classes during the 10 week summer session June 2 - August 9.  Check out our schedule online.   Let us know what questions you have.

Congrats to Captain John Gannon
I am delighted to report that our adjunct Lecturer John Gannon has just been promoted to Captain in the LA County Sheriff's Department.  Captain Gannon is being assigned to oversee the community colleges bureau for the sheriffs department, providing police and security for nine colleges.

 

Women's Leadership Conference April 9
The goal of the Womxn at CSUSB is to help all of those who identify as womxn- students, staff, and faculty become stronger leaders in their personal, organizational and community spheres of influence; inspiring them to create a more accepting, equitable environment for themselves and other womxn; and empowering them to embrace their authentic selves. Symposium on Agency Transformation April 15

Virtual Spring Commencement May 22
Student registration for the virtual commencement is open.  Registration will include the opportunity for each participant to upload their picture and a personalized message, both of which will be displayed during their respective ceremony.  All participants will receive their diploma cover and commemorative program by mail. Students will receive an email from the Commencement Office with complete details and instructions for the May event.  Please continue to monitor the commencement website for updates.
